About
I started singing at the age of 18, mostly hard rock and heavy metal repertoire, but three years later, 1991, at the age of 21,
I entered choir G.P. da Palestrina in Vicenza under the baton of Maestro Federico Zandonà, specialized in Renaissance music.
I joined for three years, but at 24 I interrupted my activity for three years to concentrate on the University studies.
I resumed at 27 and took lessons by Soprano Silvia Dalla Benetta.
At that time, I was given the possibility to sing arias and roles of the Italian lyric repertoire,
the one I remember with most joy being Dulcamara in Donizetti’s L’Elisir d’Amore.
At the age of 30 I entered the Coro Lirico Città di Padova and sang for another 2 years under the baton of Maestro Zambello.
Also here I was given several times the possibility to sing as a soloist. After this experience at the age of 32, I started to
study solo repertoire, mostly Bach, Händel, Schubert, and contemporary music such as Rihm, Stockhausen, and Kurtag.
Parallel to this I also started approaching living composers with the target of studying solo baritone repertoire and make studio recordings of their compositions.
I am from now on, enriching my music page with new recordings.
